The MMA7361 3-AXIS (±1.5g/±6g) Module is another addition to our offerings of accelerometer sensors. The sensor has 3 axis of measurements X, Y, Z. which are labeled on the board also for ease.  The MMA7361 Interfaces with the controllers via outputting data in form of analog voltages for all the axis i.e. X, Y, Z.

 

It has a 3.3V on-board regulator for 3.3V and is usable at 3.3V as well as 5V. The MMA7361 features signal conditioning, a 1-pole low pass filter, temperature compensation, self test, 0g-Detect which detects linear freefall, and g-Select which allows for the selection between 2 sensitivities. The MMA7361 also has a sleep mode for when you want to use it with battery to save power. All the pins for 0g Detect, g-Select, Sleep & Self Test have been broken out onto the 0.1” headers in addition to the analog output and supply pins.

 

The modules comes fully assembled and Tested with your choice of 10 pin 0.1” (2.54 mm) header of your choice - Male 180°, Female 180° ,Male 90°, Female 90° (If you want a header of your choice , please leave a message in the order page in my account section. Else, it will be shipped with Male 180° header).
